Samsung promises ''No Compromise'' policy towards Apple's patents

After several specialized websites wrote about Apple's alleged offer to Samsung regarding patent licensing, everyone was waiting for an official reaction from the Korean company. Well, today such a reaction was made public, and it comes from Shin Jong-kyun, Samsung's head of telecommunications.
During a senior member staff meeting, he clearly stated that no such compromise will be possible, and in no universe will Samsung pay Apple $5 to $15 per device.

Furthermore, just to show how committed Samsung is to these patent wars, the company has increased the budget for these litigations, from $200 million in 2011, to $260 million for 2012. As it seems, the Koreans will spare no expenses to win, and a legendary peace between the two giant manufacturers is far away. Just as in a tennis match, all eyes are now turned towards Apple, as people expect a more reasonable settlement, or perhaps the decision to fight to the end. We'll see.
